11 easy steps for delicious granola bars!

Matcha granola bars

are ideal as a snack in between or at lunch, but also for breakfast. The round shape, gold-coloured quinoa, and the deep-green color of the Matcha make these bars shine like a real diamond. In addition to these looks, the bitterness of the Matcha, the crunchiness of the quinoa, together with the nutty taste of the almonds and tahini, ensure an explosion of flavors in your mouth. These granola bars will taste extra delicious with a cup of your favorite tea.

Ingredients

● Matcha (cooking-grade): 1 tablespoon go to shop Matcha
● Oatmeal: 100 g
● Almonds: 65 g
● Quinoa: 53 g
● Dried cranberries: 48 g
● Honey: 60 mL
● Tahini: 60 mL
● Coconut oil: 1 tablespoon
● Salt: 1/8 tablespoon

Method

STAP 1
Preheat the oven to 160 °C.

STAP 2
Chop the almonds into pieces.

STAP 3
Stir the almonds into the oatmeal.

STAP 4
Roast this mixture in the oven (10 – 15 min @160 °C) by stirring every 5 minutes.

STAP 5
In the meantime, fry the quinoa in preheated coconut oil until golden.

STAP 6
Mix the golden quinoa with the dried cranberries, honey, tahini, and salt.

STAP 7
Sift in the Matcha and ensure that a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

STAP 8
Finally, add the almonds and oatmeal to this Matcha mixture.

STAP 9
Transfer the mixture to a container lined with parchment paper.

STAP 10
Let the mixture in the refrigerator for overnight.

STEP 11
Cut the Matcha granola bars into your desired shape.
